After SHARGE Disk’s launch, we incorporated extensive user feedback to optimize airflow direction. This upgraded fan is more powerful and controllable, ensuring sustained file transfer speeds, stable port performance, and extended SSD lifespan.
In Turbo Mode, Disk Pro’s fan runs continuously, reducing SSD temperatures to around 50°C/122°F during 480GB mixed-file transfers (compared to 80°C in other hubs).
In Auto Mode, Disk Pro intelligently activates/deactivates the fan based on NAND temperature:
- Fan activates at 7,000 RPM when temperatures exceed 35°C/95°F ，below 50°C/122°F.
- Fan ramps up to 10,000 RPM when exceeding 50°C/122°F.
- Fan automatically shuts off below 25°C/77°F to conserve power.
